What to Expect at HYPE Try-outs:
Our tryouts are designed to:
*Challenge athletes in a positive, high-energy environment
*Showcase your skills in drills, gameplay, and team scenarios
*Evaluate players on athletic ability, Volleyball IQ, and team culture fit
We welcome all players that are ready to bring the energy and dedication it takes to be apart of Oxford HYPE.
OHVC REGISTRATION FORM:
Please note: In addition to completing the OHVC form, every athlete attending tryouts MUST be registered through the OVA Member Registration System (MRS) before attending tryouts. MRS registration for the 2025-2026 season opens on September 1, 2025 and instructions will be posted on the website.
Oxford Hype Volleyball: 2025–2026 Tryouts
The wait is over. Oxford Hype Volleyball is ready to launch a fearless season, and it all starts with tryouts. This is where athletes bring their energy, passion, and hustle to earn their place on the court.
All tryouts will take place at:

Signing Day
Oxford Hype’s Official Signing Day will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025.
Full details will be released on our social media pages leading up to the event.
Tryout Layout

Each athlete will receive a tryout number at check-in.

Athletes must bring and wear this number at every tryout session.

Numbers will be used by coaches to track and evaluate athletes throughout the tryout process.

Following the first night of tryouts, Oxford Hype will post on social media the numbers of athletes invited to move forward.

Registration & Fees
To be eligible to attend tryouts, athletes must complete the following: Tryout fee is $50.00

Register as a “Tryout Player” through the Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) MRS system.

Complete the Oxford Hype Tryout Registration Form found on our website.

Provide proof of OVA Tryout Player submission at check-in.

Pay tryout fees at the first session by Cash, Cheque, or E-transfer.

Each athlete will receive an Oxford Hype Tryout T-shirt included in their fee.
